sisilihya.blogspot.com

After a week off, the UFC is back with a top five matchup in the bantamweight division for Saturday’s main event as MMASucka provides UFC Vegas 44 Results. That main event will be between fourth and fifth ranked Rob Font and Jose Aldo as they both try to keep their win streaks alive.

UFC Vegas 44 Results – Main Event

Rob Font will be coming into this fight on a four fight win streak dating back to December 2018. It started with back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Sergio Pettis and Ricky Simon. Following the win over Simon, Font would take on former title challenger Marlon Moraes at UFC Vegas 17. Font finished Moraes in that fight, winning the fight by TKO in the first round to extend his win streak to three. His fourth straight win, and most recent fight, took place earlier this year in May when he faced former champion Cody Garbrandt in the main event of UFC Vegas 27. Font defeated Garbrandt that night, winning the fight by unanimous decision. Font looks to win his fifth in a row and take out his second straight former champion, but this time attempting to do it against the legendary Jose Aldo.

The former UFC featherweight champion will be entering the fight on a two fight win streak after starting his bantamweight career 0-2. In those first two fights, he lost a close split decision to Marlon Moraes before he came up short against Petr Yan for the vacant title the following year. After the loss to Yan, Aldo would pick up his first win in the bantamweight division as he defeated Marlon Vera by unanimous decision at UFC Vegas 17. Following that win, Aldo picked up his second straight win earlier this year in his most recent outing with another unanimous decision win, this time over Pedro Munhoz. Aldo looks to keep his win streak alive as he takes on Font and continues his way back to another title shot at 135 pounds.

UFC Vegas 44 Results – Co-Main Event

Saturday night’s co-main event will feature a top fifteen matchup in the lightweight division as Brad Riddell faces Rafael Fiziev. Each man enters the fight with very good UFC records as Riddell is undefeated in his UFC career and Fiziev has gone 4-1 since his UFC debut.

After starting his professional career 6-1, Riddell made his UFC debut in 2019 in a fight against Jamie Mullarkey at UFC 243 in which he won by unanimous decision. Following that win, Riddell would go on to win his second straight in the UFC with a split decision win over Magomed Mustafaev. Riddell has since won his last two fights since then as well with back-to-back unanimous decision wins over Alex da Silva Coelho and Drew Dober. Overall, Riddell holds a record of 10-1 with a 4-0 record since joining the UFC. Along with those four wins, Riddell had already won three straight before his UFC debut, so he looks to extend his win streak to eight in a row with a win over Fiziev.

Fiziev began his professional career with an undefeated record of 6-0 to earn his shot with the UFC. He made his debut in 2019 in a fight that he lost as Magomed Mustafaev finished him by TKO in the first round of their UFC Fight Night 149 matchup. Since then, Fiziev has won four straight fights in the octagon. He started with two straight unanimous decision wins over Alex White and Marc Diakiese. Following the win over Diakiese, Fiziev picked up his first knockout win in the UFC with a first round KO over Renato Moicano at UFC 256. Fiziev would then go on to win his fourth straight fight with a unanimous decision over Bobby Green at UFC 265 in August. He looks to make it five in a row with a win over Riddell in what promises to be an exciting fight.

UFC Vegas 44 Results – Main Card

Kicking off Saturday night’s main card at 10 p.m. EST/7 p.m. PST will be a matchup in the welterweight division as Alex Morono faces off against Mickey Gall. Morono enters the fight a winner of his last two straight fights. Both fights took place earlier this year as the first one happened at UFC Vegas 26 against Donald Cerrone. Morono finished Cerrone by TKO in that fight, finishing the UFC veteran in the first round. Following that fight, Morono picked up a unanimous decision win over David Zawada a few months ago at UFC Vegas 36. As for Gall, he holds a 1-1 record in his last two fights. The loss occurred in 2020 as Mike Perry defeated him by unanimous decision. Since then, Gall has picked up a win over Jordan Williams, submitting him in the third round of their meeting earlier this year at UFC Vegas 32.

Following that fight will be a matchup in the middleweight division as Brendan Allen takes on a relatively new face in the UFC, Chris Curtis. Allen will be entering the fight with two straight wins behind him. Both of his last two wins occurred this year as the first of the two was a first round submission win over Karl Roberson at UFC 261. His most recent outing was at UFC Vegas 32 where he picked up his second straight win with a unanimous decision win over Punahele Soriano. Curtis will be entering the fight with only one UFC fight on his record as he made his UFC debut last month at UFC 268. In that fight, he took on Phil Hawes and defeated him by first round knockout. He looks to make it two in a row in the octagon with a win over Allen, extending his overall win streak to seven straight.

The third fight on the main card will feature a fight in the lightweight division as MMA veteran Clay Guida faces Leonardo Santos. Guida’s most recent win took place earlier this year in February when he picked up a unanimous decision over Michael Johnson at UFC Vegas 18. In his most recent outing, following that win, Guida would end up losing by split decision to Mark Madsen at UFC Vegas 34. Guida’s opponent on Saturday will be entering the fight coming off of his first loss of his UFC career. Santos made his UFC debut in 2013 and since then has put together a record of 7-0-1. Among his wins included notable names like Anthony Rocco MartinKevin Lee and Stevie Ray. His most recent fight took place earlier this year as Grant Dawson handed him his first UFC loss by knockout in the third round of their UFC Vegas 22 matchup.

Finally, before UFC Vegas 44’s co-main event, there will be a top fifteen matchup in the light heavyweight division between Jimmy Crute and Jamahal Hill. Crute comes into the fight with a 1-1 record in his last two fights. After a KO win over Modestas Bukauskas for his second straight win at the time, Crute would lose his following outing. His two fight win streak was snapped in his most recent fight when former title challenger Anthony Smith finished Crute by TKO at UFC 261. Crute looks to bounce back with a win over Hill who enters the fight with a similar 1-1 record in his last two outings. Hill picked up a TKO win over Ovince Saint Preux last year at UFC Vegas 16 to improve his record to 8-0, 1NC. Since then, Hill would lose his first pro fight against Paul Craig at UFC 263 over the summer as Craig finished him by TKO. Like Crute, Hill will be looking to bounce back with a big win on Saturday.
