One of the biggest storylines coming out of the WWE draft was that Raw women's champion Charlotte Flair and SmackDown women's champion Becky Lynch were both drafted to the opposite brand in which they hold championships. On Monday night, Flair will be attempting to make sure she retains her championship status when she defends her title against Bianca Belair in one of Raw's featured matches.
The draft changes go into effect with Friday night's episode of SmackDown, one night after the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia. Belair, who was drafted to Raw, is one of two women challenging Lynch for the SmackDown women's title at Crown Jewel, giving her the opportunity to win two belts in a four-day stretch. If Flair retains, she will take the Raw title to SmackDown with her unless WWE makes similar moves to the previous draft where the Raw and SmackDown tag champions swapped brands and simply exchanged belts.
Also on Monday night, WWE champ Big E will team with Drew McIntyre for the third straight week, this time taking on Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. McIntyre will challenge Big E for the title at Crown Jewel.
