1:02 p.m. It’s confirmed: Joey Chestnut breaks his own world record with 76 hot dogs. He also captures his 14th mustard belt in the last 15 years. Esper was credited with 50 dogs and second place, and Whery finished with 44 for the bronze medal.

11:50 a.m. We have official results in the women’s division, and the pride of Central Arizona University graduate Michelle Lesco is the winner. The usual massive favorite in this event is seven-time champion Miki Sudo, but this year she was sidelined due to her pregnancy. That means the door was opened for Lesco to be a winner.
