Round 1 – Hill comes out aggressive, missing on her opening strikes. The two fighters collide and Gadelha shoves a Hill takedown attempt off. Hill lands a knee to the midsection. Gadelha and Hill exchange. It looked like Hill got the better of that one. Thus far, Hill is looking much more fluid than Gadelha. She’s letting her hands go, too, whereas Gadelha is being more tentative. As Hill comes in, Gadelha grabs double underhooks and is now pressuring Hill against the fence. Looking at Hill’s face, she’s straining with all her might to prevent this takedown. Gadelha switches to a single leg. Hill is still successfully defending. Finally, Gadelha gets the takedown.
