Brad Keselowski picks up a win in a wild finish at Bristol in a Supermarket Heroes 500 that saw Chase Elliott with another chance to win as the race came to a close.
Elliott was leading when he took a pit stop at the Coca-Cola 600 with two laps to go last Sunday with the caution flag out, which allowed Keselowski to race to victory lane last Sunday as well.
Before Keselowski was able to get to the front, Chase Elliott and Joey Logano were battling for the lead with three laps to go, and Elliott's No. 9 car got loose and steered Logano's No. 22 into the wall.
Clint Bowyer wound up finishing second.
This wild finish was only possible because of fireworks that came with 11 laps to go when then-leader Denny Hamlin crashed, which allowed Elliott and Logano to battle for the lead at Thunder Valley.
The win is the 32nd career Cup Series victory for Keselowski, who told Fox Sports after the race that he was feeling lucky.
"I think everybody on this Discount Tire Ford Mustang team is going to go to Vegas, is it open yet?" Keselowski joked.
Logano who finished 21st was very unhappy after the race when he spoke to Fox Sports.
"[Elliott] wrecked me, he got loose underneath me. I had to force an apology, which to me is just childish...golly be a man and take the hit when you're done with it"
Elliott finished 22nd and also talked about the crash with Fox Sports. "Just going for the win...I'll certainly take the blame...I hate we both wrecked, but...can't go back in time now"
There is no mid-week race this week, and the Cup Series back on the track on Sunday, June 7 at Atlanta Motor Speedway for the QuikTrip 500.
