The Raiders are very much a team that is in the middle of an offensive line rebuild. Heading into Week 4, they had four new starters on the offensive line from last season. The only constant was Kolton Miller, who continues to be an elite left tackle.

Miller has improved in every season for the Raiders and the team rewarded him with a big contract extension this offseason. He continues to prove that was a wise deal as he has yet to allow a sack this season.

In fact, Miller has the second-most pass-blocking snaps this season without allowing a sack, according to Pro Football Focus. The only player ahead of him is Tristan Wirfs, but he plays right tackle rather than on the blindside.

With Miller playing this well, the hope is that the rest of the offensive line can quickly improve. The other offensive tackle, Alex Leatherwood, is coming off a rough game in which he allowed a sack and had two more penalties. However, the rest of the offensive line (minus Miller) hasn’t been much better either.

We shall see how the development of the rest of the offensive line goes over the next 13 games. But one thing we do know is that Kolton Miller is quickly becoming one of the league’s best left tackles.
