The Bengals improved to 3-1 while dropping the Jaguars to 0-4 with a last-second, come-from-behind 24-21 home victory on "Thursday Night Football." Jacksonville has lost 19 in a row dating to Week 2 of the 2020 season.
The Bengals never led in the game until Evan McPherson kicked a 35-yard field goal as time expired. Cincinnati trailed 14-0 at halftime but opened the second half with two touchdowns in the third quarter to tie. The teams then traded touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 348 yards, his first game this season with 300 passing yards. Tight end CJ Uzomah finished with two touchdown receptions and 95 receiving yards. Tyler Boyd had his first 100-yard receiving game of the season, finishing with 118 on nine catches.

Trevor Lawrence had the best game of his young NFL career. The Jags' rookie quarterback threw for 204 yards, rushed for 36 yards and scored a rushing touchdown. James Robinson (78 rushing yards) scored the Jaguars' other two touchdowns. Laviska Shenault Jr. led Jacksonville with 99 receiving yards.
The Jaguars lost Pro Bowl wide receiver DJ Chark to an injury on the third play of the game. He was carted off with a reported ankle fracture. Bengals running back Joe Mixon left the game late in the fourth quarter. His status is unknown.

11:16 p.m. — An offensive holding penalty is called Quinton Spain resulting in a 10-yard penalty.
11:14 p.m. — Uzomah is having quite a night adding another first down to reach the Jaguars 43-yard line as the game reaches the two minute warning.
