AZ Cannabis Doctor

Due to coronavirus (COVID-19), Governor Ducey signed an executive order to allow opiates and other drugs to be prescribed via telephone and video. However, medical marijuana certifications were excluded from the order, so a local medical marijuana doctor has taken the matter into his own hands by launching a petition to see if Ducey will amend the order.

The petition was launched to “request that the wording of the executive order 2020-15 be amended to allow medical marijuana certification appointments be done via telemedicine during the COVID-19 crisis.”

Arizona medical marijuana doctors want telemedicine because it’ll help keep themselves and their patients safer since it allows for true social distancing.

Arizona dispensaries were deemed essential by Governor Ducey which allowed them to remain open during the coronavirus lockdown in Arizona. Many of them started offering online ordering and curbside pick-up to keep their patients and employees safe.

Sign the e-petition to support the state’s medical marijuana doctors and patients.
