Roman Reigns has dominated SmackDown for well over a year, successfully defending his universal championship against nearly everyone on the roster. On Friday night, Reigns will likely get a look into who will be the next man up when SmackDown heads to Greensboro, North Carolina.
Reigns is coming off another impressive win at Survivor Series this past Sunday night. At the pay-per-view event, Reigns managed to outlast WWE champion Big E in an all-out war. Reigns was the only member of the SmackDown roster to win their match on the Survivor Series main card.
A battle royal will be held on Friday night to determine Reigns' next challenger. With no pay-per-view set for December, the winner may not receive their shot at the belt until the Day One pay-per-view event which is scheduled for New Year's Day.
