Brock Lesnar returns to SmackDown on Friday night, less than one week before the WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view goes down in Saudi Arabia. Lesnar is set for a championship showdown with universal champion Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel event.
Paul Heyman's loyalty has been at the center of the situation involving Lesnar and Reigns, with Reigns doubting that his advisor truly has his back. Lesnar has fed into that doubt, hinting that Heyman may be returning to his old role as his "advocate." On Friday night, Lesnar's return is likely to kick up those same suspicions.
In addition to Lesnar's return, the special edition of SmackDown will run an extra 30 minutes and feature semifinal matches in the Queen's Crown and King of the Ring tournaments.
