Just two days before Extreme Rules on pay-per-view, WWE brings SmackDown to Philadelphia on Friday night. There is a title match set to go down on the show, with Apollo Crews getting a rematch against Shinsuke "King" Nakamura for the intercontinental championship.
Nakamura won the title from Crews on the Aug. 13 edition of SmackDown and has yet to defend the championship on TV or pay-per-view, though he has successfully defended against Crews at a number of house show events. Both men will have muscle in their respective corners, with Rick Boogs backing Nakamura and the towering Commander Azeez behind Crews.
Nothing is announced for universal champion Roman Reigns or his Extreme Rules opponent, Finn Balor, though one would expect those two will exchange final words ahead of their title match. The same could be said of SmackDown women's champion Becky Lynch and challenger Bianca Belair.
CBS Sports will be with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
