On last week's episode of SmackDown, Seth Rollins avenged his SummerSlam loss to Edge with a victory in one-on-one action. Rollins wasn't content to stop with a simple victory, however, and executed a vicious attack on Edge's neck. On Friday night, Rollins is set to address his actions.
Rollins targeted Edge's vulnerable neck at the conclusion of last week's match, hitting a pair of superkicks before a stomp. That stomp was a move he'd vowed to deliver at SummerSlam with the intention of forcing Edge back into retirement. Edge had several surgeries on his neck that led to a near-decade-long retirement. While Rollins couldn't manage to beat Edge in their SummerSlam clash, he took full advantage of his second opportunity. Edge was stretchered out after Rollins' stomp but as Edge was taken away in an ambulance, Rollins said he didn't know how to feel about the situation other than possibly feeling nothing at all.
