As more people turn to at-home COVID-19 tests, Monroe County is encouraging people who test positive to report their results to the health department. The county has created an online portal for that.
People who report a positive test result will be contacted by the Monroe County Department of Public Health to be placed in isolation. This will ensure these individuals receive proper support and documentation for work absences and help contact tracers determine if others are at risk.
Negative at-home test results do not need to be reported at this time.
