LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The NSAA Girls Basketball State Tournament is underway at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The tournament has an expanded format this year with games spanning 5 days across Lincoln.

Wednesday, March 3

FINAL: Elkhorn North 35, Omaha Gross 28. Highly-rated prospect Britt Prince was held to 7 points, but Elkhorn North leaned on stingy defense and balanced scoring to advance to the Class B Semifinals. Hannah Nadgwick sparked the Wolves, who overcame a 4-point fourth quarter deficit. Nadgwick scored a team-high 11 points for Elkhorn North.

FINAL: Scottsbluff 34, Crete 20. The defending champion Cardinals never got on track offensively in a season-ending loss to Scottsbluff. Crete struggled shooting the ball and was held scoreless in the second quarter. Hannah Newton and Leah Jurgens scored 10 points apiece for the Cardinals. Head coach John Larsen, who broke the state’s all-time wins record earlier this season, said Crete played its worst game of the season at state.

FINAL: Pleasanton 52, Elmwood-Murdock 32. Pleasanton advanced to the Class D1 Semifinals for the fourth straight year with a 20-point win over Elmwood-Murdock. The Bulldogs made their mark on the game early, as they outscored the nights 17-4 in the first quarter. Jayden Halferty scored 15 points for Elmwood-Murdock.

FINAL: Humphrey St. Francis 73, Sterling 41. Husker signee Allison Weidner scored 19 points, as the Flyers rolled in the Class D2 quarterfinals.

FINAL: Crofton 62, Centennial 37. Top-seeded Crofton raced out to an early and advanced to the Class C2 Semifinals with a dominating win over Centennial.

FINAL: Archbishop Bergan 50, Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family 42. Lauren Baker led the way for Bergan as that will set up a rematch of last year’s state title game with Pleasanton.

FINAL: Mullen 53, Exeter-Milligan 30. It was a close game in the second half but the Broncos started pulling away in the second half led by Samantha Moore, who knocked down a shot at the third quarter buzzer.

FINAL: Winnebago, 48 Grand Island Central Catholic, 46. After stunning Malcolm in the district final, Winnebago continues its Cinderella run by defeating the #2 seed GICC.

FINAL: Bridgeport 66, Lourdes Central Catholic 48. This game was tied at the end of the first quarter but Bridgeport’s Olivia Loomis-Goltl helped the Bulldogs to victory.

FINAL: Weeping Water 55, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley 45. Weeping Water is once again led by Grace Cave and again, the Omaha commit delivers with a big performance going for 26 points. Macy Kamler scored 23 points for BDS.

FINAL: BRLDN Co-op 62, Wood River 41

FINAL: North Bend 50, Broken Bow 29

FINAL: Sacred Heart 42, Maywood/Hayes Center 31

6:15pm: Sidney vs Lincoln Lutheran

6:30pm: Wynot vs Chambers/Wheeler Central

6:30pm: Ponca vs Guardian Angels Central Catholic

6:30pm: South Platte (Big Springs) vs Cedar Catholic (Hartington)

8:30pm: Syracuse vs St. Cecilia
