Kansas State fans will have an opportunity to see the football team on the field at Bill Snyder Family Stadium later this week.
K-State will open the doors at the stadium for the final 45 minutes of Saturday’s practice. Spectators are permitted to enter beginning at 11:45 a.m. Those planning to attend the practice are asked to park in the west lot and enter through Gates B or D.
In addition to watching the team, it also provides a chance for people to tour the stadium’s new Shamrock Zone, the recently completed project in the south end zone. The Shamrock Zone, the recently completed area with new club seating, also will be open for the final 45 minutes of Saturday’s session.
Current policy doesn’t require masks for outdoor events at K-State. Masks will be required in the Shamrock Zone since the university currently requires masks while indoors on campus property.
K-State players report for preseason camp Thursday, with the first practice set for Friday.
The Wildcats begin the 2021 season Sept. 4, as they travel to Arlington, Texas, to face Stanford at AT&T Stadium. The game will kick off at 11 a.m. and air nationally on FS1.
K-State’s home opener will be Sept. 11, when it hosts Southern Illinois at 6 p.m. That contest will air on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.
