LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The NSAA Girls Basketball State Tournament is underway at Pinnacle Bank Arena. The tournament has an expanded format this year with games spanning 5 days across Lincoln.

Saturday, March 6
FINAL: Weeping Water 40, Pleasanton 39: Grace Cave scored the game-winning basket as Weeping Water held on for the Class D1 championship. Cave finishes with 16 points
FINAL: North Bend Central 51, Hastings SC 49: Another game that goes down to the wire at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Bailey Kissinger had a huge game for St. Cecilia with 33 points but it wasn’t enough as NBC got a combined 39 points from the Emanuel sisters.
FINAL: Elkhorn North 46, Norris 33: The Titans went ice cold from the field as Elkhorn North was led by freshman star Britt Prince.
FINAL: Humphrey St. Francis 57, Falls City Saint Francis 46: The Flyers’ Allison Weidner finishes her high school career netting 2, 282 points. That ranks 3rd all-time in the state. Weidner is a Nebraska commit. Humphrey St. Francis finished the season undefeated.
FINAL: Lincoln Pius X 56, Fremont 52: The Thunderbolts made it back-to-back Class A titles as Lincoln Pius was led by Alexis Markowski who scored 27 points and grabbed 19 rebounds.
FINAL: Crofton 46, Ponca 42: The Warriors won their ninth state championship in program history with the win over Ponca.
