The 2020 U.S. Open is proving a formidable task for golfers at the Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, N.Y.

At the start of Round 2 competition on Friday, only 10 golfers had a score better than par, while only nine achieved par. And the conditions stood to get harder for golfers as the tournament progressed and the greens got faster.

Of course, there have already been plenty of highlight-reel shots, including long putts, beautiful approaches, eagles and even a hole in one. That looked to continue in Friday's Round 2 and on into weekend play.

Sporting News tracked live scoring updates and highlights from Round 2 at the 2020 U.S. Open. Follow below for complete results from Friday's leaderboard.
