This week's Dynamite is supersized because it takes place over two nights, Wednesday and Thursday. The first night featured a lot of action.
Best Friends faced Santana and Ortiz in a Parking Lot Brawl after Proud and Powerful damaged Sue's minivan. Did Trent get revenge for his mom, or did Santana and Ortiz get the upper hand?
Thunder Rosa also returned to Dynamite this week to defend the NWA Women's Championship against Ivelisse in a rare cross-promotion match.
MJF was back in action for the first time since losing to Jon Moxley at All Out, Private Party battled Chris Jericho and Jake Hager, and much more took place on Wednesday's show.
Let's take a look at everything that happened on this week's episode of Dynamite.

AEW packed Wednesday's show to the brim with matches and non-wrestling segments:

Jim Ross, Excalibur and Tony Schiavone welcomed us to the show before we went right to the ring. Jurassic Express was waiting for FTR when The Young Bucks came out, super-kicked the ref for no reason and left without saying anything.
FTR mocked them as they walked by backstage before heading to the ring. Dax Harwood started off against Jungle Boy and used his size advantage to take control right away. He and Cash Wheeler exchanged tags and double-team moves to keep the young man isolated.
Jungle Boy used his agility to hit a few dropkicks to turn things in his favor. Once Luchasaurus tagged in, FTR was hesitant to engage with him. Harwood and Wheeler used a distraction to attack him from behind.
The tag team champions kept the pace steady as they used mat wrestling techniques to keep their opponents on defense. Luchasaurus missed Wheeler and dove into the crowd at one point. This allowed FTR to team up on Jungle Boy and get the win by cheating.
Grade: B
Analysis
The Young Bucks turning heel has been fun to watch, and having them come out and assault the ref before this match for no reason was a quick way to further that storyline.
The fight that followed was the kind of fast-paced tag team action we have come to expect from AEW. These two teams showed a lot of chemistry and had some great exchanges.
There were a few points when slowing down would have benefitted them, but it's a small quibble. Overall, the match was a fun way to kick off the show.

Kenny Omega joined the commentary team to watch The Hangman take on Kazarian. Omega was clearly conflicted about Page judging from the way he talked about his former partner.
Page and Kaz had a furious lockup to start the action. They made a clean break in the corner to show that both men wanted to have a clean competition.
Kaz got in some offense, but the first half of the match belonged to Page. The Hangman used everything in his arsenal to keep his opponent at bay. As they fought through the break, Kazarian began to make a comeback.
They traded big lefts and rights until Page hit a fallaway slam and a shooting star press for a near-fall. Kaz caught him with a cutter a few minutes later for another two-count. Both men hit several impressive counters, but they couldn't seem to keep each other down for the pin.
After a lengthy exchange, Page hit the Buckshot Lariat for the win.
Grade: A
Analysis
This was the kind of match that would have been at home on any pay-per-view card. Page and Kaz are two skilled veterans who are experts at what they do, and they did not disappoint.
This could have been a five-minute match with no storyline, but it ended up being one of the best singles bouts either man has had in AEW to date.
The physical ability of both competitors was impressive. They hit a lot of power moves you would expect from guys twice their size, which speaks to the hidden strength Page and Kaz possess. This was great work from top to bottom.

MJF faced a local competitor and defeated him in less than 10 seconds by taking him down into the Salt of the Earth armbar for the submission victory.
He grabbed a mic after Wardlow threw his opponent out of the ring. MJF said he is an honest man and Moxley cheated during their match at All Out.
He said moving forward, people are to call him the uncrowned AEW champion, and he forced Justin Roberts to announce him by his new title. He teased joining one of AEW's stables.
Grade: B+
Analysis
A squash match usually wouldn't receive such a high grade, but the way this one was done and the promo after the bout made MJF look great.
The best thing about MJF's argument is that he is right. Moxley used a banned move during their match, and nobody did anything about it. MJF may be a heel, but he is not a liar in this case.
It will be very interesting to see if he actually joins a stable, especially since he and Jericho don't appear to like each other despite being friendly when they are face-to-face.

Earlier in the show, Matt Hardy was found backstage after having been attacked. He appeared to have an injured knee as Jericho and Hager mocked him nearby.
Hager started for his team and had a tough time combating the speed and agility of Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy. Once Y2J got the tag, he turned the tables and took control.
The veterans had control for most of the match, but the young high-flyers were not about to go down without a fight. After a hot tag, Quen took down Jericho and Hager with a flurry of quick maneuvers.
After getting the win with the Judas Effect, Jericho kept attacking Kassidy and locked him in the Walls of Jericho. Quen made the save, but the damage had been done.
Grade: C+
Analysis
The action in this match was good, but something about the pace felt off. At times, it seemed like Private Party was slowing down when it shouldn't.
It could be due to a lack of chemistry. These are not two teams who have faced each other a million times, so they have never had an opportunity to get to know each other.
The ending indicates this could be a feud that continues, which would be great because there is potential for these two teams to improve on this performance during their next encounter.

Hikaru Shida was shown watching from the crowd as Rosa and Ivelisse squared off for the NWA Women's Championship, which marks the first time this title has ever been defended in AEW.
They started by trading arm drags and various counters to establish that they are equally skilled. Rosa was the first to hit a series of moves to take control and score the first two-count.
As the match continued, both women started showing signs of the damage they had done to each other. They never slowed the pace down too much, but they did it enough to show they were hurting.
Ivelisse failed to win with her finisher, and it gave Rosa the opening she needed to hit a tombstone piledriver for the win to retain her title.
Grade: A
Analysis
This match was all about physicality. Both women were hitting as hard as they could and using a lot of power moves to make this a great match.
Diamante attacking Rosa after the match allowed Shida to get involved. It's clear AEW is working toward a tag team match with the winners of the AEW Women's Cup taking on the AEW and NWA women's champions.
Seeing AEW form relationships with other promotions is great, but it needs to make sure its own women's division is the priority moving forward.

Archer came out with Jake Roberts to talk about going after Moxley's AEW title. They were soon joined by Taz, who made Archer promise to give Brian Cage the first shot at the belt if he wins it from Mox.
Moxley came out and was grabbed by a fan who turned out to be Ricky Starks. He and Cage ambushed the champion in the stands and beat him down until Will Hobbs showed up with a chair to make the save.
Mox grabbed a mic and introduced Hobbs as one of his partners. He said Darby Allin would be his second partner in next week's six-man match against Cage, Archer and Starks.
Grade: B-
Analysis
Archer teaming with Cage and Starks was predictable, but Moxley adding Hobbs to his team came as a pleasant surprise after the powerhouse recently signed with AEW.
This segment had some good mayhem in the stands when Starks and Cage attacked Moxley, and the exchange between Taz and Roberts did a good job revealing their uneasy alliance.
The six-man tag bout next week should be a hard-hitting affair.

Santana and Ortiz showed up with some skull-like face paint for the Parking Lot Brawl with Best Friends. All four men immediately started brawling as several wrestlers cheered them on.
Trent put Ortiz under the hood of a car and slammed it on top of him several times before both men hit sentons onto the hood to do even more damage.
They set up a piece of plywood across the bed of a truck, but Ortiz found his signature baton and used it to take out both men. He hit a slingshot that sent Trent's face into a tailgate.
Neither team had the upper hand for long, which tends to be how fights like this go. The longer they went, the more violent they became.
Blood was spilled, bodies were broken and property was damaged before Orange Cassidy emerged from the trunk of a car and hit a huge punch to Santana with a chain wrapped around his fist.
Chuck Taylor hit Santana with a piledriver on a car while Trent put Ortiz through a piece of plywood to get the pin and the win. Sue arrived with a repaired van to give the winners a ride home. She made sure to flip off Proud and Powerful before driving away.
Grade: A-
Analysis
Whenever any promotion does a match that takes place backstage or in a parking lot, it always involves a lot of weapons and unique ways of using the environment to inflict damage.
Both teams had some entertaining moments throughout this fight. Ortiz nearly killing Taylor with a sledgehammer was shocking, to say the least.
This was a great way to showcase everyone involved. For two guys who have the gimmick of hugging each other a lot, Trent and Taylor came away from this looking like badasses.
