Just one week after WWE presented its biggest event of the summer, the company is coming back with a second pay-per-view in as many weeks featuring the return of its top star. 2020 WWE Payback on Sunday night will feature the returning Roman Reigns contending for the universal championship he never lost in a triple threat no holds barred match against champion "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt and ex-champ Braun Strowman.
Reigns, who aligned with advocate Paul Heyman on Friday night, has been the talk of the wrestling world since making his return at SummerSlam. How WWE will choose to book his first match back is what everyone is wondering entering what initially seemed like a rushed show but instead appears to clearly be a planned event to potentially feature Reigns as a heel for the first time.
Payback will be presented live Sunday night from the WWE ThunderDome inside the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. It will begin at 7 p.m. ET with a kickoff show starting one hour earlier at 6 p.m. on the WWE Network. CBS Sports will be with you the whole way through the event, providing updates and highlights as the action goes down in the live blog below.
