The first NXT TakeOver of 2021 will be anything but romantic despite its Valentine's Day date. The Capitol Wrestling Center on Sunday night will host NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day as WWE's third brand continues its hot start to the year with three championship matches and two tournament finals.

Finn Balor, Io Shirai and Johnny Gargano will all put their titles on the line with two of those serving as dream matches when Balor defends the NXT championship against Pete Dunne and Gargano puts the North American championship up for grabs against Japanese legend Kushida. Shirai will battle Toni Storm and Mercedes Martinez in what could be the surprise show stealer given the incredible talent of the competitors along with their varied age and experience levels.

What goes down Sunday will likely set the stage for NXT over the rest of 2021, though it is unknown whether there will be an NXT TakeOver event around WrestleMania 37 weekend later in the spring. CBS Sports will be with you the entire way Sunday night, bringing you the latest results, grades and highlights from NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day.
