With some great primetime matchups teed-up for Sunday Night Football and Monday Night Football, there’s still plenty of football left in Week 1, but the main DraftKings slate wrapped up with the three late games on Sunday afternoon.

In the giant $5 million Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘chumleigh54’ passed ‘kincaidt1’ thanks to Raheem Mostert ($5,800; 25.1 DKFP) in the late game; but ‘tadavisii’ took over the first-place spot when his Chargers DST ($2,800; 11 DKFP) picked off Joe Burrow ($5,800; 17.32 DKFP) and avoided disaster when his defense held the Bengals out of the end zone late. There was still more drama, though, since ‘Aceboogie33rd’ claimed the top spot momentarily when Kyler Murray ($6,400; 27.3 DKFP) led the Cardinals’ comeback against the 49ers. With Mostert getting ‘chumleigh54’ a couple more points on the final San Francisco drive, that entry pulled back out in front by a point and ‘Aceboogie33rd’ dropped back to fourth.

With just one game left and the Saints comfortably out front of the Bucs, it looked like things were wrapped up, but New Orleans had a few more tricks in store. Alvin Kamara ($7,200; 23.7 DKFP) caught a 38-yard pass from Taysom Hill ($4,400; 5.22 DKFP) on a gadget play and then ran for what appeared to be a touchdown. That touchdown put ‘tossboss’ into the lead, but on further review, the touchdown was taken away and ‘chumleigh54’ moved back into the top spot with ‘tossboss’ finishing second.

In the $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘moneymaker19’ took over the lead from ‘ending’ thanks to those few late points from Mostert and held on to win while ‘ending’ slid to second with ‘AgentRP’ moving up to third thanks to a monster day from DeAndre Hopkins ($6,800; 32.1 DKFP).

All three of the games in the late window were very close. Murray ran for an extremely entertaining touchdown in the highlight below to give his Cardinals the win. Jimmy Garoppolo ($5,800; 19.26 DKFP) answered with a touchdown strike to Jerick McKinnon ($4,000; 13.40 DKFP), but Murray showed great poise and led his team down for the game-winning score. Initially, that was scored by DeAndre Hopkins, but on review, it was taken away and Kenyan Drake ($6,400; 14.5 DKFP) scored on the next play.

Joe Burrow’s debut went pretty well for the Bengals, but they came up just short after A.J. Green ($5,700; 10.1 DKFP) was called for offensive passive interference to negate a potential game-winning touchdown. Randy Bullock then missed a short FG which would have forced overtime.

In the most hyped matchup coming into the week, Tom Brady ($6,500; 22.46 DKFP) led his new-look Buccaneers against the Saints, but New Orleans showed their still the class of the NFC South with a 34-23 win. While Kamara and Drew Brees ($6,800; 14.4 DKFP) each had solid showings, the real standout for New Orleans was the Saints DST ($3,800; 17.0 DKFP) which finished with three takeaways, three sacks and this pick-six against Brady.

The three games on the late slate continued to switch up the leaderboard as we come down the stretch headed for the conclusion of the big Week 1 contests. In the $5 million Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘kincaidt1’ is clinging to a lead of less than one point over ‘chumleigh54,’ who has Raheem Mostert ($5,800) in the late game. Don’t sleep on ‘tossboss’ and ‘fernie2378’ as they try to charge from back in the pack with two players each in the late games.

In the $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘ending’ is still in the top spot with 241.16 DKFP but ‘moneymaker19,’ ‘mjatabor1’ and another ‘ending’ entry sit in the Nos. 2 through 4 spots with one player left each. Further back, ‘dreamcatchers’ has both Mostert and Alvin Kamara ($7,200) but also has about 30 points to make up.

The Saints hosted the Buccaneers in the featured game of the late window. Tampa Bay got an early rushing touchdown from Tom Brady ($6,500) on one of his trademark QB sneaks. However, the Saints bounced back with a pair of scores from Kamara, including the one below as they took the lead at halftime. Kamara posted a very solid 18.1 DKFP in the first half.

The Bengals started the Joe Burrow ($5,800) era by welcoming the Chargers. Burrow scrambled for a touchdown in the highlight below and posted 10.24 DKFP in the first half. Los Angeles struggled in their first half with new QB Tyrod Taylor ($5,600), who had just 7.08 DKFP as the Chargers put up just a pair of FGs.

In the other late game, the 49ers hosted the Cardinals in Santa Clara, where the air quality was deemed good enough for the game to take place. San Francisco struck for a big play to Mostert, who has 18.9 DKFP at halftime, but the Niners do have cause for concern after George Kittle ($7,200) hobbled off to the locker room just before halftime.

In the $5 million Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘kincaidt1’ had the lead after the early games with Aaron Rodgers ($6,300; 33.76 DKFP), Josh Jacobs ($6,800; 35.9 DKFP), Davante Adams ($7,300; 44.6 DKFP) and Adam Thielen ($6,700; 34 DKFP) along with Dallas Goedert ($4,100; 27.1 DKFP), who had a big game in the Eagles’ loss. Keep an eye on ‘tdavisii’, though, in the No. 10 spot, who still has a DST, and ‘Billy2x,’ who is back in 25th but still has a flex play.

In the $2.5M Fantasy Football Millionaire, ‘ending’ took over the top spot with both Thielen and Adams powering him to the top spot with touchdowns from every single player on his roster. His 243.16 DKFP will be hard to catch but there are still plenty of points available in the three late games. Stay tuned to see if he can sweat it out and hold on.

Cam Newton ($6,100; 25.7 DKFP) started the second half with another rushing score for the Patriots, as he continued to thrive in Josh McDaniels’ new system en route to 21-11 victory.

Elsewhere in the third quarter, Jacobs had his second rushing score of the game, and Lamar Jackson ($8,100; 27.5 DKFP) threw his third touchdown of the afternoon by connecting with Willie Snead IV ($4,000; 16.4 DKFP). Marquise Brown ($5,100; 18.1 DKFP) went over 100 yards early in the third quarter and ended with 101 yards on the game for the Ravens.

Russell Wilson ($7,000; 34.78 DKFP) also stayed hot and connected with DK Metcalf ($5,800; 19.5 DKFP) for his third touchdown pass of the game and later found new TE1 Greg Olsen ($4,000; 12.4 DKFP) for his fourth touchdown of the game and Olsen’s first in a Seattle uniform.

The Jets also struck for a big play as they tried to comeback against the Bills with Sam Darnold ($5,500; 12.2 DKFP) finding Jamison Crowder ($5,200; 27.5 DKFP) for a 69-yard touchdown strike that put Crowder over the 100-yard bonus. Later in the game, though, the Jets lost superstar RB Le’Veon Bell ($5,600; 6.6 DKFP) to a hamstring injury.

With just 12 seconds left in the third quarter, Adams added to his monster game with a second touchdown against the Vikings, which came on his 13th catch of the game. Adams finished the game with a massive 156 yards on his 14 catches on the day, out-dueling Thielen, who also opened the season with a pair of touchdowns.

At the start of the fourth quarter, Christian McCaffrey ($10,000; 28.4 DKFP) got his second touchdown of the game. The Panthers weren’t done, though, and Teddy Bridgewater ($5,900; 19.4 DKFP) connected with new WR Robby Anderson ($4,700; 28.5 DKFP) for a long touchdown and hit him again on the two-point conversion. Jacobs had an answer, though, running in for his third rushing touchdown on the day to put the Raiders back on top in the see-saw affair which the Raiders held on to win, 34-30.

The Panthers weren’t the only team trying to rally, as the Washington Football Team completed their own comeback and took the lead after trailing early against the Eagles. Peyton Barber ($4,000; 14.7 DKFP) gave them the lead with his second rushing score of the game.

The Colts’ rally fell short when Philip Rivers ($6,000; 19.82 DKFP) was intercepted by the Jaguars, who got the 27-20 win. The Ravens cruised to an easy win over the Browns but the Falcons made things tough on the Seahawks thanks to a pair of touchdown passes from Matt Ryan ($6,700; 27.9 DKFP) to Calvin Ridley ($6,100; 36.9 DKFP). Ridley finished with 130 yards and his teammate Julio Jones ($7,700; 27.7 DKFP) had 157 yards but no touchdowns.

The NFL announced its return with nine games in the 1 p.m. ET time slot getting all the big contests off to a great start.

The first touchdown of the day came from Nyheim Hines ($4,000), who later scored a second touchdown as well to make him a key part of the lineups near the top of the leaderboard early on. He could continue to see increased opportunity with Marlon Mack ($5,300) out for the remainder of the game with an ankle injury.

A short rushing touchdown from Josh Jacobs ($6,800) was the first score in the history of the newly-christened Las Vegas Raiders after rookie Henry Ruggs ($5,100) had a long catch to start his career in the NFL. Regular touchdown scorers Dalvin Cook ($7,900) and Christian McCaffrey ($10,000) also found the end zone in the first half of their respective games.

Early in the second quarter, Cam Newton ($6,100) capped a nice drive for the Patriots with his first rushing touchdown, showing off the new dimension he brings to the New England offense throughout the early going.

Later in the second quarter of the early games, Russell Wilson ($7,000) threw his second score of the game to Chris Carson ($6,200) and Josh Allen ($6,500) threw a pair of touchdowns after rushing for a score early in the game. Todd Gurley II ($6,100) answered the two Carson scores with his first score with the Falcons.

J.K Dobbins ($5,000) made a splash in his NFL debut with this touchdown out of the wildcat for the Ravens. The Packers connected on a big touchdown just before halftime as well with Aaron Rodgers ($6,300) finding Davante Adams ($7,300) for his first score of the season. The catch put Adams over 100 yards in just the first half, vaulting him to the top of the leaderboard early.

At halftime, Allen was the key QB play with 24.34 DKFP, which stood in huge contrast to his opposition Sam Darnold ($5,500), who only had 2.84 DKFP in the first half. Hines, Wilson and Carson were also key contributors early with multiple scores in the first half of the early games.

(Leaderboards current as of 2:25 p.m. ET)

In the first half, jeffhallman349 jumped out to the early lead in the $5M Fantasy Football Millionaire with Adams, Allen, Carson and a shutout from the Eagles’ DST.

Packerbravefan led the $2.5M fantasy football millionaire with touchdowns from almost every player on his roster but also with the aforementioned Mack (ankle; $5,300) who has been sidelined with that ankle injury.

In the $500K Wildcat, Brn1982 had the lead thanks to Adams, Allen and Carson while John Brown ($5,600) also chipped in a score.
