2 more people have received positive test results for COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Sunday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 210. With the surge in cases in the past week, the update said the county is in jeopardy of losing its accrual status of meeting Oregon’s requirements for schools to look at reopening to in-person instruction.
Of the total number of cases, 189 are people that have had positive test results and 21 are presumptive. There have been 3 deaths. 8 people are now hospitalized for COVID-19 but 2 of those are being hospitalized outside the local area. 27 people are in isolation. 12,267 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be Tuesday in Roseburg.
