While not as good as night one, the second night of WrestleMania provided plenty of action.
The second night of WrestleMania 37 had a high bar to live up to from night one of pro wrestling's marquee annual event.
While not as momentous as the previous day, night two of WrestleMania had its fair share of moments, highlighted by Roman Reigns retaining the Universal Championship over Daniel Bryan and Edge in a well-paced and action-packed main event Sunday.
All three competitors told a really good story that delivered in the ring. They put a beating on each other from start to finish that had the crowd on their feet.Edge looked to be on his way to regaining the belt 10 years to the day he had to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship due to what was believed to be at the time to be a career-ending neck injury. He blasted Bryan with a steel chair to put him out of commission. He was about to do the same to Reigns but the titleholder's cousin, Jey Uso, came back out to ringside and attacked Edge with a chair.
Edge came back and took out Uso. Reigns took advantage and hit a spear on Edge. He beat the tar out Edge with a chair and dragged him on top of Bryan. Reigns then put himself on top of them for the three count to retain the belt.
In the co-main event, Rhea Ripley captured the RAW Women's title in a high octane match over Asuka. It was a battle of power versus technical ability. The brutality of Ripley won out in the end as Asuka went for one final kick. Ripley moved out of the way to hit the Rip TIde to win her first belt on the main roster.
Here is what happened at WrestleMania 37.
