MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A possible change in state law would allow patrons to take single-serve cocktails to-go from restaurants, possibly bringing some much needed relief to business owners.
The bill would only apply to bars and restaurants with a license to sell wine and spirits on site, which would allow them to sell the mixed drinks in to-go containers with a tamper-evident seal.
Service area experts say this move will keep more businesses open.
