LANSING, MI --The 4th largest Mega Millions jackpot in history can be yours tonight as the estimated jackpot for the drawing on Tuesday, Jan. 12 is worth $625 million. The cash option for tonight’s drawing is expected to be worth $458.8 million.
The jackpot could be even larger if sales were to exceed expectations.

Once again, MLive will be providing live results of tonight’s drawing and will update this story with the winning numbers as soon as they come in.
How to play Mega Millions and Powerball
The Mega Millions drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. and will be broadcast live on the following TV stations throughout the state:
- WBKB-TV 11 (CBS)
- WDIV-TV 4 (NBC)
- WNEM-TV 5 (CBS)
- WXSP-TV (MyNetwork TV)
- WLAJ-TV 53 (ABC)
- WMKG-TV 38 (IND)
- WLUC-TV 6 (NBC/FOX)
- WGTU-TV 29/WGTQ-TV 8 (ABC)
Follow the drawing, MLive will publish an update in the morning that includes whether or not anyone won the jackpot.

The last player from Michigan to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot was Cristy Davis of Waterford who won $70 million playing Powerball in February. With her winnings, Davis said she planned to buy a new house and car.
And while she was a lucky winner, it’s smart for players to check their tickets immediately as a winner worth $1 million sold in Hartland in 2019 went unclaimed. The ticket was purchased at the Speedway in Hartland, but the winner never came forward to claim the prize. The money instead went to the state’s School Aid Fund.
