  Ford is extending its work from home policy for office workers to June 2021.

(CNN) – Some Ford employees will be able to work from home well into 2021.

The automaker told its office workers that it will be extending its work from home policy in North America until June 2021.

This impacts about 32,000 employees. Of those, 26,000 work in Michigan, where Ford is headquartered.

Ford employees have been working from home since March.
