4 more people have received positive test results and there are 3 new presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Thursday.
An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases has jumped to 275. Of those, 243 are people that have received positive test results and 32 are presumptive.
The update noted that positive test results are again on the rise. The DCCT team encourages residents to protect themselves and their families by following simple, basic health and safety precautions:
*Wash and sanitize hands frequently
*Stay at least six free apart from anyone not from their immediate household
*Stay home from work, shopping, school and play when sick
*Minimize travel and visitors
*Wear a mask where recommended
There have been 4 deaths. 3 people are being hospitalized for COVID-19. 2 are being hospitalized locally and 1 is hospitalized out of the area. 29 people are in isolation. 13,836 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.
The next drive through testing clinic with the Douglas Public Health Network will be Friday in Roseburg.
