Danish job board Jobindex announced it is raising its expectations for its full year 2021 results.
The job board said it has experienced a record high level of job advertisements in March, and the high level has continued at the beginning of April.
The updated guidance is based on preliminary and unaudited financial figures for the first quarter of 2021.
For the first quarter of 2021, the company expects net revenue of approximately DKK 95 million (€12.7 million), up from DKK 73 million (€9.8 million) in the first quarter of 2020. At the same time, it expects an operating profit before interest and tax of around DKK 35 million (€4.7 million) against DKK 18 million (€2.4 million) the year prior.
As a result, Jobindex has upgraded its full year 2021 forecast to a net turnover of approximately DKK 340 million (€45.7 million) against the previously forecasted DKK 320 million (€43.0 million). It also upgraded its operating profit before interest and tax to approximately DKK 100 million (13.4 million) against the previously expected DKK 90 million (12.1 million).
The final quarterly report for Q1 2021 is expected to be published 18 May 2021.
