Grey's Anatomy's season 16 finale delivered a big twist for Owen Hunt and Teddy Altman as the pair prepared to tie the knot.
In last night's (April 9) episode, Tom Koracick discovered that Owen and Teddy were going to get married that night, and he tried to convince Teddy not to go through with it.
They later got intimate, though Teddy accidentally sent a voicemail recording of the encounter to Owen (as you do), the latter inevitably listening to it.

In the recording of them having sex, she also insisted to Tom that she would marry Owen that "this is goodbye" — though Owen subsequently decided to postpone the wedding by claiming that he got called into surgery.
Fans were certainly divided by the twist, some sympathising with Owen while others were less forgiving given his own cheating past.
"Really @GreysABC. Teddy leaving that voicemail? Not a fan of Owen but he deserves way better than.....her," one wrote.

Another added: "Owen isn't my fav but he didn't deserve this," while a third said: "You may all hate him but I literally feel so bad for him teddys such an ass HE GAVE UP SO MUCH FOR HER, yeah he got her pregnant and he’s made mistakes but my heart."
However, one viewer noted: "Did people just forget that Owen has cheated on all of his women?"
"You want me to feel sorry for Owen Hunt?" another fan said. "The same man who cheated on Cristina Yang? The same man who slept with Teddy and went back to Amelia just to change his mind again?"
"I feel 5% sorry for Owen," another viewer admitted. "The other 95% of me remembers Cristina sobbing in bed after she found out he cheated."
Grey's Anatomy airs on Thursdays on ABC in the US. It airs on Sky Witness and NOW TV in the UK.
