To celebrate the occasion, the Spurs social media pages jumped in on the trend of "Baby Yoda" "Mandalorian" memes. Except instead of a peach fuzzy small alien (actually called "The Child"), it's a condensed version of the team's mascot, the Spurs Coyote.
Game day, it is. And, there's a new Baby Yoda, or Yote, on the meme scene.

The little guy is wearing a No. 2! jersey and retro Spurs cap and is giving the stare with his big green eyes that so many have fallen in love with.

"Cute, this is," the furriest Spurs said on Twitter.
The Spurs host the Brooklyn Nets at 7:30 tonight.
